Description Robert Half has partnered with a construction company in search of a General Accountant. The General Accountant position is paying $70,000-95,000/year.The General Accountant will be responsible for:State and County tax compliance, regulations and statutes
Processing payroll, employee benefits, tax duties/audits
Reconciling various bank accounts
Compiling accounting reports
Understanding & applying Internal Revenue Code and tax regulations

Requirements
The ideal General Accountant would possess:A degree in accounting or finance
At least 5 years of full cycle accounting experience
Strong customer service/communication skills
Experience handling audits
Strong understanding of sales and use tax
