High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
Ability to complete assigned tasks.
Must be responsible for tracking personal labor hours.
Understanding of AC/DC electrical fundamentals.
General mechanical aptitude and familiarity with working with hand tools.
Able to speak, write, and read the English language.
Valid driver's license with a good MVR.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble and install electrical equipment (i.e. switch gear, motor controls, VFDs, EV Chargers, conduit, and terminations).
Continue training, education and practical application of NEC code.
May require occasional travel by air or vehicle to out of state locations when requested by Company.
Other Job Functions:
Comply with all safe work procedures in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
Check and respond to all company communications on all scheduled workdays, including voice mail, emails, and text messages. Must effectively manage voicemail, texts and email to facilitate communication both internally and externally with supervision.
Complies with all applicable Company safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
Able to function in all environments safely and effectively.
Must be able and willing to work both inside and outside in adverse weather (i.e., cold temperatures, high heat, sun, snow, rain, and wind).
Must be able to work from elevated platforms.
Must be able to operate heavy equipment (i.e., scissor lifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, trenchers etc.).
Must be able to bend and cut conduit using hand saws, hand tube bending equipment as well as power and hydraulic cutting and tube bending devices.
Must be able to push, pull, or lift at least 60 lbs.
