Job Description:Under direction of the the Regional Medical Director and Regional Operations Officer, serves as a trusted member of the Medical Groups management team, providing effective leadership and accountability for ambulatory care operations.Scope1.Organizes and manages the daily operations of the assigned service line. Collaborates withthe management team in planning, program development, human resource management, budget planning, customer satisfaction, patient safety, communication and compliance with regulatory agencies.

Collaborates with leadership team to evaluate service needs and volumes and adjust staffing levels accordingly. Responsible for oversight and management of staff and provider schedules.

Builds partnerships with Hospital Care Sites and Physician leadership. Promotes effective working relationships within service line to facilitate achieving goals and objectives.

Implements strategic initiatives around service line quality, service, and financial performance. Partners with physician leadership to optimize patient flows, refine clinic processes, and maximize provider efficiency.

Participates in the preparation of operational budgets. Accountable for service line profit and loss. Prepares and presents business plans, reports, and other statistical data.

Partners with leadership team to identify and drive quality and performance improvement initiatives. Acts as analytic thought partner and assists with report interpretation and monitoring of business metrics. Responsible for associate engagement and patient satisfaction outcomes.

Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, accreditation requirements, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

Manages human resource functions such as interviewing, selection, orientation, education/training, feedback, performance evaluation, and policy and procedure development. Conducts employee coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions and annual appraisals. Supports hiring and onboarding of all associates and providers.

Responsible for physician, associate and patient safety within all service line facilities. Resolves issues related to patient safety, care and service.

Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsRequiredAssociates degree in health care or Five (5) years of practice management or practice administrator experience is required Associate must obtain a bachelors degree in healthcare or a related field within two (2) years of hire or promotionFive (5) years of practice management or practice administrator experience is required Five (5) years of supervisory-level experience is requiredPreferredPrevious experience producing business cases and demonstrating return on investment for service line programs and projectsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily.
