Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist for our Broomfield, CO, Albuquerque, NM and Golden Valley, MN locations.  In this role, you will impact the organization by implementing and maintaining effective Personnel Security (PERSEC) policies and procedures, interfacing between the Honeywell cleared population and customer entities, and ensuring compliance with security regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to assess risks will contribute to the overall security posture of the company. Are you ready to help us make the future?Responsibilities:

Enable thorough background checks on employees and contractors by ensuring that required, completed paperwork meets the high standards of the Security Team and various government entities; remains engaged with employees, contractors, and the government throughout an individual’s processing

Provide training and guidance to employees on PERSEC best practices

Identify opportunities to improve PERSEC operations efficiency, resolving issues as necessary

Develop and implement PERSEC policies and procedures

Establish systematic methods of coordinating and sharing PERSEC information among various locations

Coordinate PERSEC clearance requirements with various government entities

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Submit required reports to Honeywell management and the government

Provide backup coverage to the Security Team at all ACST locations and assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures as required by the Cleared Facility and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).

The annual base salary for this position is $68,100.00 – $85.100.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. MUST HAVES:

Minimum of 1 years' experience in a PERSEC role or 2-3 years’ experience in a related role, such as a CPSO/CSSO/SSO for SCI or SAP programs, with in-depth knowledge of the DOD IC regulatory manual.

High School Diploma or GED

Active/current TS/SCI with polygraph

Experience with various government systems, such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and tools, e.g. National Background Investigation Services’ (NBIS) electronic application (eAPP)

Proficient level of understanding of the NISPOM, Security Executive Agent Authorities and Responsibilities (SEAD) series manuals, CFR 32 117, the NISPOM Overprint, and DoD SAP Manuals & Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) series manuals
