Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing and/or eliminating the demands to travel.Key Responsibilities:Logistics and InventoryEquipment Receiving- Coordinate with facilities to receive equipment deliveries.- Inspect the equipment upon arrival for any damage or missing parts.- Ensure the equipment received matches the specifications outlined in the purchase order and packing list.- Report any missing equipment or material through the appropriate bug in Buganizer.Equipment Inventory- Ensure the received shipment is aligned with the bill of material specified for the node.- Arrange the shipment that was received to be set up and prepared for the installation of the equipment.- Ensure adequate stock of laboratory supplies by managing the inventory of consumables.- Control spare stock inventory.Additional Considerations- Develop a process for tracking equipment repairs and maintenance.- Consider using an asset management system to track equipment inventory and maintenance.- Ensure that all equipment is properly labeled and stored in a secure location.- Train build team members on proper equipment handling and maintenance procedures.Engineer / InstallCreate the Design Engineering package (DEP) that is required for client builds.- The Design Engineering package (DEP) is a critical document that provides the necessary instructions and specifications for client builds. The DEP includes the following:- A list of the equipment that is required for the build.- A CRL (Cable Run List) that is required for the build.- A list of the materials that are required for the build.- A set of quality control procedures to ensure that the build meets the required standards.Rack the equipment according to the FEV.- The FEV (Front Equipment View) is a document that provides a detailed diagram of the equipment layout for the client build. The FEV includes the following:- A list of the equipment that is to be installed in the rack.- The location of each piece of equipment in the rack.Label the equipment.- All of the equipment that is installed in the client build must be labeled. The labels must include the following information:- The name of the equipment.Install, label, and test network uplinks to include all interbay and intra bay cabling per the cabling run list.- The network uplinks must be installed, labeled, and tested in accordance with the cabling run list. The cabling run list provides the following information:- The location of each network uplink.- The type of cable that is to be used for each network uplink.- The length of each network uplink.Install, label, and test serial console cabling.- The serial console cabling must be installed, labeled, and tested. The serial console cabling provides a way to access the equipment for configuration and troubleshooting purposes.Perform quality control audits for client builds.- Quality control audits must be performed to ensure that the client build meets the required standards. The quality control audits include the following:- A review of the DEP to ensure that it is complete and accurate.- A visual inspection of the equipment to ensure that it is properly installed and labeled.- A functional test of the equipment to ensure that it is working properly.InterruptsIn the lab, perform interrupt work for nodes as requested through Buganizer. This includes:- Investigating and correcting interrupt issues:- Work with engineers to identify and correct interrupt issues reported through Buganizer.- Testing fixes:- Work with engineers to test fixes for interrupt issues.- Coordinate with engineers to validate the fixes on lab devices.- Documenting interrupt fixes:- Document the interrupt fixes in detail, including the root cause of the issues, the implemented fixes, and the testing performed to validate the fixes.- Communicating with engineers:- Provide updates on the status of investigations, fixes, and testing.- Address any questions or concerns raised by engineers.- Coordinating with other teams:- Collaborate with other teams, such as the Infra team and the Cluster team, as needed to resolve interrupt issues.- Share information and coordinate efforts to ensure that interrupt fixes are implemented in a timely and effective manner.Workflows- Initiate the Shax Turnup Workflow:- Access the Shax platform and navigate to workflows.- Select the "Turnup" workflow template and click on "Start New Workflow."- Specify the deployment type (Lab or Customer) and provide relevant details such as the number of nodes, desired configurations, and any additional requirements.- Review the workflow parameters and confirm the initiation of the Turnup workflow.- Monitor In-Progress Workflows:- Regularly check in progress workflows.- Keep track of the various stages, including node provisioning, software installation, and configuration tasks.- Stay alert for any errors or issues that may arise during the Turnup process.- Promptly report any identified issues to the appropriate team responsible for resolving them.- Execute Riker Installs:- Once the Shax Turnup workflow is complete, proceed with the installation of Riker on the machines within the newly commissioned GDCE nodes.- Follow the established Riker installation procedures, ensuring that the software is correctly configured and ready for use.- Monitor the Riker installation process closely to identify any potential problems or delays.- Stay in communication with the requesting team to provide updates on the installation status.- Complete Hand-off to Requesting Team:- Upon successful completion of the Riker installations, verify that the nodes are fully functional and meet the required specifications.- Perform necessary testing and quality assurance checks to ensure the nodes are ready for production use.- Coordinate with the requesting team to schedule a hand-off of the commissioned nodes.- Provide documentation, training materials, and any other relevant information to facilitate a smooth transition and knowledge transferBasic Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of Networking: Install, label, and thoroughly test all network uplinks based on the cabling run list. Serial Consoles: Install, label, and test serial console cabling for configuration and troubleshooting.
