Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Production Laborer to join a leading manufacturing team. The role involves running a mixing machine, palletizing buckets, and operating a packaging machine for exterior caulk products used in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will be prepared for physical work involving lifting 5-gallon drums weighing 40-50lbs and working in a dirty environment. Clean-shaven candidates are necessary due to occasional respirator use.Main Job Responsibilities:
Will be running mixing machine and placing 5 gallon buckets (40-50lbs) for formula to be dumped into
Add materials at specified quantities and times, check temperatures, and or mixtures and chemical reactions, record necessary batch information, and take, conduct, and record samples at designated times to ensure prompt, consistent, quality batches.
Palletizing bucket once finished with process
Mixing chemicals into mixing drum based on formula
Running packaging machine that packages the caulk into caulking tube
Operating a forklift and other material handling equipment
Shift:
5pm-5:30am, Monday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Friday - rotating this schedule every 2 weeks
First week training from 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $24/hourQualifications:
1 year of heavy manufacturing/production, landscaping and/or construction experience
The individuals must be able to lift 65 pounds throughout the shift
Must be able to solve simple math problems to accurately record chemical additions, lot numbers, and scale readings.
Must be clean shaven (no facial hair) – due to wearing a respirator a t times
