Nestled between the mountain and Main Street, at Beaver Run you're just a few steps away from the ski slopes in the winter and the hiking trails in the summer. With 40,000 square feet of conference and meeting spaces, Beaver Run is the largest conference center in Breckenridge with the most scenic views and most professional team, services and amenities. Overview: The Director of Maintenance (DOM) is responsible for the oversight, upkeep, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the entire resort facility and property, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, aquatic facilities, landscaping, common areas, F&B outlets, Conference Center and related equipment . Leads the Maintenance Department and works closely with other departments, specifically with the Project Manager. Reports to VP/Asst. GM. Benefits available including Flexible Time Off (FTO), Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, etc. This position starts at $90,000/yr + DOE Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leads a maintenance staff of 15-20 employees and responsible for day-to-day operations of the department including staffing, scheduling, job assignments, performance management, development, etc.

Develops and manages annual operating budget and assists with capital and major maintenance projects and revenue generation.

Responsible for overall care of the resort facilities including visual inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and crisis management and regularly communicates condition of property to the senior management/board of directors.

Creates proposals and review contracts and find solutions for continual improvement of the physical property and systems.

Reviews and processes all billing/invoices to departments, owners and other companies including vendors and contractors.

Adheres to all required processes, policies and controls to include all outside contractor bids and schedules.

Utilizes company systems for inventory, work orders and documentation of effective preventive maintenance programs.

Maintains a well-defined and organized system within the shop for inventory, maintenance and storage of tools, products, materials, vehicles, and equipment necessary to execute the required activities of the department.

Oversees and maintains maintenance related vehicle fleet, including vehicle registration, maintenance care and upkeep.

Complies with all federal, state and local regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

5+ years in a large hotel, resort or hospitality setting required.

5+ years maintenance, engineering and/or related facility management experience required.

7+ years leadership and staff management experience.

Demonstrated experience creating and managing complex departmental budget or equivalent experience along with accurate forecasting abilities.

Resort, hotel, property management facilities/maintenance/engineering background preferred.

Experience and advanced knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing and construction contracting.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Experience with maintenance or work order software - MPulse experience a plus.
