The PowerPlants Company is fully funded plant-based protein start-up in Boulder County, CO. It’s an investment by the JBS Company, the world’s largest protein producer and the second largest food company in the world.PowerPlants is building its team and looking for a talented and driven marketing professional to help build the best plant-based protein company in the world.We are seeking an experienced professional to join us as a Corporate Development Manager at our new office in Boulder County, CO.The leader will work closely with all areas of the business and lead strategic decision making process around commercial expansion, new market selection, portfolio expansion, margin management and M&AResponsibilities:Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead commercial finance and margin management group

Select, filter, assess and recommend companies for M&A

Select filter assess and recommend market and channel entries and exits as well as determine the market and channel entry strategy

Work with operations and business leadership to determine operational expansion, capability and capacity acquisition strategy

Aid marketing and sales in portfolio expansion strategy, portfolio mix margin management, go-to-market strategy

Control and oversee commercial financial budget and performance, reporting results and recommendation to the controller and chief commercial officer

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and MBA required

7-10 years of combined CPG and finance experience (Broad exposure to multiple Customers a plus)

Advanced financial analytics skills, including valuation, revenue management, and FP&A

Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Excellent verbal and written skills a must

Proven excellence in negotiations

Ability to analyze syndicated data and provide insights
