POSITION DESCRIPTION Community Manager
The purpose of this position description is to summarize the responsibilities and duties associated with the position of Community Manager. The Ross Management Group (RMG) emphasizes a team approach and fully expects every person to perform any reasonable task or request that is consistent with fulfilling company objectives. RMG may promote from within, therefore, we recommend an on-going effort to familiarize yourself with the duties and responsibilities of those positions directly above and around your own. This position description does not constitute an employment contract between RMG and any site employee and may be changed at the sole discretion of RMG.
REPORTS TO: Regional Manager
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have Tax Credit Experience
Must have experience with troubled / homeless young adults
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Responsible for the timely physical completion of all duties, work and documentation necessary in the areas of:
o Resident relations and retention
o Property accounting
o Marketing
o Policy, procedure and program compliance, including:
ï§ RMG policies and procedures
ï§ Emergency policies and procedures
ï§ Policies and procedures from the following outside agencies:
HUD, CHFA and/or Housing Authority
OSHA, DOT, EPA, Fire Department, Health Department or other health and safety entities
Federal State and/or Local government and law entities
o Daily property operations
o Property appearance and function
o Complete other duties necessary to property functions
Responsible to follow established Grievance Procedures in the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual
Responsible to contribute to the well being of the property and RMG through honesty and integrity, pride in a professional business appearance and a positive attitude toward fellow staff and residents
