Sr. Lead Machine Operator - Night Shift

Sr. Lead Machine Operator (1) position available.

Night Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:15 am, Sunday through Thursday, $1.00 differential pay.

New starting wage is $24.00 per / (commensurate with experience). Note that rate could change based on shift schedule.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Must have strong mechanical aptitude/skills

Ability to lift 15-50 lbs. approximately repeatedly throughout shift

Ability to be on your feet for shift

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Good mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, averaging and percentages)

Must be quality and customer service oriented

Ability to meet attendance guidelines and work additional hours/OT as needed

Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company

WHAT YOU'LL DO EACH DAY:

Direct packaging functions of assigned equipment center.

Provide guidance and troubleshoot equipment in assigned work center.

Ensure correct and timely completion of all necessary production paperwork.

Train and develop new operators to efficiently and safely operate equipment.

Ensure quality and food safety GMPs are adhered to.

Assist Team Lead in covering task assignments for machine operators.

Communicate any necessary shift changes or machine issues occurring.

Execute any projects as expected in a timely manner.

Be an positive team member and participate in process improvements, quality, and initiatives.

Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.

Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to:

GMP’s

Allergen Program

Quality

Sanitation

Safety

SQF
