D&K Printing (dkprinting.com) in Boulder is renown for the quality of our product and customer service. We are growing and planning to expand our team. We're looking to add a Feeder Operator/Second Man who can effectively complete the tasks outlined below. Experience is a must.
Position Summary:
Assists Press Operator with the set-up and operation of 5-color 40" Komori Lithrone printing press in accordance with duties and responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read instructions from job envelope and assist with press set up.
Assist with making "job ready" by making adjustments to print quality, registration, color settings and mixings.
Complete job envelope to include press samples, quantity (good vs. scrap), and date, then forward printed material to appropriate department.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Perform preventative maintenance on press such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments to rollers.
Hang plates.
Perform in a Press Operator capacity in the absence of the Press Operator.
Work as part of a team.
Any other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
Experience as Feeder Operator for offset printing presses.
Willingness to learn new machinery.
Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs.
