Venue Site Managers & Technical Managers (Boulder, CO)

Colorado, Boulder 00000 Boulder USA

Vacancy caducado!

The Boulder International Fringe Festival provides opportunities for artists to showcase their work through an uncensored, un-biased platform, and often in non-traditional spaces. We expose our community to independent art which is both accessible and affordable. We present year-round programming capped by an annual 12-day performance festival, which brings together local, national, and international artists, and partners with other events in Boulder.

Every year, the Boulder Fringe Festival seeks dedicated staff members who are interested in supporting independent art and performance in their community. We are primarily looking to hire for two positions for the 2019 festival: Venue Site Managers and Technical Managers. The individual descriptions for each of these positions are listed below. Staff members from previous years are encouraged to re-apply for each new season.

VENUE SITE MANAGERS:

The Boulder Fringe seeks Venue Site Managers to help ensure smooth operations within this year's "Fringe Central" while festival performances are underway. Venue Site Managers will act as a main point of contact for festival audiences and will oversee general venue processes. Individuals applying for this position must be available to work August 13-26, 2019. Successful candidates should have experience working with the public, must possess strong managerial and people skills, and be very organized in regards to numbers and money. Applicants should also be proficient in Micorsoft Excel, Word, and online ticketing systems. Having live performance and technical skills a plus.

TECHNICAL MANAGERS:

The Boulder Fringe seeks Technical Managers to support the technical functionality of performance venues being used by artists during the festival. A technical background in Lighting, Sound, Staging and Video is essential. Individuals applying for this position must be available to work August 12-26, 2019. Successful candidates should be highly organized, and have experience both in managing people and operating technical equipment. Additionally, they must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and be comfortable interpreting technical specs. Design experience is helpful but not required.
