Drexel, Barrell & Co. has a position available for a Marketing Coordinator can be based in our Lafayette office or our Colorado Springs office, whichever is closest to you!
This position includes:
Assisting management in refining our bidding and proposal approaches to increase our odds of success, the value of proposals won, and to ensure costs are commiserate with project value.
Systematically, timely, and methodically collecting and disseminating lists of projects, primarily in the public-sector, matching Drexel Barrell’s expertise, locales, and objectives to allow pursuit of projects before they are widely known by competitors.
Collecting background information, assisting with teaming arrangements, and making recommendations (along with the Project Manager) relevant to making GO / NO-GO decisions on pursuing statement of qualifications and proposals.
Assisting each Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and preparing compelling letters of interest, statement of qualifications, and proposals (e.g., through wordsmithing, graphical presentation, clear and cogent proposal themes and messages, green and red team reviews, etc.);
Orchestrating interviews, and assisting with critiquing proposals and presentations, and conducting proposal debriefings.
Designing, preparing, organizing, maintaining, and distributing materials including resumes, project experience sheets, brochures, newsletters, public relations articles, flyers, mailers, and planning and coordinating company open houses.
Managing our web page to keep it current, interesting, and a relevant marketing tool.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Graphic Design
Proposal/Bid Creation
Technical Writing
Familiar With BID NET and Other Public Bidding Platforms/Sites
5 years experience in Project Marketing Preferred
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Wage:
$35,000 - $60,000 Depending on Experience
This is a full-time hourly position
