This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Hourly wage of $18-21 per hour (based on level of experience) with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) match.
Responsibilities:
We are a small but growing company, and that means you may be required to wear multiple hats throughout your day. As a Furniture Installer at BC Interiors, you will be a key part of our operations team. Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Deliver and install commercial and educational furniture at customer facilities
- Utilize install drawings and floorplans to navigate customer facilities, stage product, and install furniture
- Fill-out project checklists, review work performed with customer, and receive customer sign-offs upon completion of all projects
- Complete service calls and warranty/punch trips
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers on-site
- Providing daily status-updates to customers and internal teams on installation progress
- Clean-up, remove, and recycle dunnage at customer facilities and at our warehouse
- Maintain box trucks, vans, and other company vehicles
- Maintain area around building to provide safe entrances and exits to showroom and warehouse
Qualifications:
- Must be a quick learner, self-motivated, and proactive
- Excellent communications skills, proficient in English, and professional demeanor
- An obsessive level of attention to detail and customer service
- Understanding and staging spaces based on a floorplan
- Follow product assembly instructions
- Use of an electric drill and other tools required for furniture installation
- You will need to have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record and background check
- Ability to lift over 50lbs
- Power tools and all equipment will be provided by BC Interiors
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay range of $18 – $21 per hour dependent on experience
