Dawson, a K-12 independent school of 510 students located east of Boulder, seeks a Maintenance Technician to assist with the overall upkeep and repair of our 112-acre campus. The campus includes numerous school buildings, residential housing, and our beautiful grounds. This position is available immediately.
We will consider candidates who can work 25 to 40 hours per week. This can be 1st shift, 2nd shift, or weekends - we are flexible. Please indicate in a cover letter your days and hours of availability.

Qualifications
-High School diploma or GED required
-Colorado Driver’s License with good driving record
-General maintenance experience, but we are willing to train
-Experience in installing hardwood flooring.
-Extensive experience in both interior and exterior painting.
-Experience with wall repairs, caulking, and ensuring clean, precise lines.
-Solid understanding and hands-on experience in basic to advanced plumbing and electrical tasks.
-Experience in a multi-building facility would be helpful.
-Ability to lift 30-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Ability to handle difficult physical labor
-Ability to work indoor and outdoor environment involving hot and cold weather
-Ability to climb ladders, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time
-Basic computer skills
-Positive attitude and great work ethic
Duties
-Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, as well as painting and flooring
-Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing and landscaping, with expertise in caring for flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees
-Conduct snow removal operations to ensure clear and safe pathways
-Assist with the setup and preparation for special events, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently
-Consistently deliver high-quality work while maintaining minimal supervision
P-erform additional duties and assist with projects as time permits
This is an hourly/ non-exempt position offering flexible scheduling. The hourly pay rate ranges from $20.00 to $24.00. Benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and a complimentary lunch.
