Position based in Boulder, Colorado.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for traveling to various locations to perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation services. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The Service Electrician will ensure that all electrical work meets safety standards and regulations, providing top-notch customer service.
Electrician Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to service calls and travel to various customer locations to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.
Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of electrical systems to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems efficiently and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain the nature of the electrical issues, the work to be performed, and provide cost estimates.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, both on-site and in the service vehicle.
Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
Electrician Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and components.
Proficiency in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
VALID JOURNEYMAN LICENSE REQUIRED!
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably with experience in residential and/or service call roles.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical ability to perform the job, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week (potential for overtime)
Monday-Friday only (no weekends!)
