Assisting residents with activities of daily living; including personal hygiene, bathing, mobility, offering hydration, promoting attendance at activities, and other duties as assigned.
We are now hiring for 6 am- 2 pm and 2 pm- 10 pm shifts 2-3 days a week.
Qualifications:
Physical and emotional capacity and experience to respond to the needs of the resident
Physical demands such as; standing, walking, sitting, bending, hearing, seeing, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as toileting, bathing, dressing, and oral care
Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report any significant changes to healthcare professionals
Respond to code alerts and call lights
Maintain cleanliness in residents' rooms and common areas
Change linen and ensure proper disposal of soiled linen
Administer medication under the supervision and approval of the Nursing Supervisor
Prepare and cook meals for residents
Ensure the comfort of each resident in their room
Address residents' issues with tact and compassion, seeking resolution
