Overview
Bethel Agency is seeking compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Host Home Providers to open their homes to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role is ideal for individuals or families who have the space, time, and heart to provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where clients can thrive.
As a Host Home Provider, you will partner with Bethel Agency to offer personalized care and daily support in your own home. This is a contracted role with monthly tax-free compensation ranging from $3,000 to $7,000, depending on the individual’s needs and level of care required.
Responsibilities
Provide a safe, clean, and stable home environment that meets state licensing and Bethel Agency standards.
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
Administer and document client medications according to QMAP standards and state regulations.
Complete all required agency documentation accurately and on time, including care notes, progress logs, and incident reports.
Encourage and support community involvement, skill development, and independence.
Transport clients to appointments, activities, and events as needed.
Follow individualized service plans and work closely with Bethel Agency staff to meet client needs.
Maintain compliance with all Colorado state regulations for IDD services and ensure all requirements are met to maintain HHP compliance with agency.
Ensure clients’ rights are upheld, treating them with dignity and respect at all times.
Participate in required trainings and comply with all Medicaid and PASA regulations.
Skills & Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must own or rent a home/apartment suitable for hosting a client (home will be inspected for safety and compliance).
Ability to pass background checks, reference checks, and meet state licensing requirements.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Compassion, patience, and dedication to providing person-centered care.
Strong organizational skills to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Willingness to complete QMAP (Medication Administration), CPR, and First Aid training if not already certified.
Pay: $3,000 – $7,000 per month (tax-free stipend, based on level of care) per client. (depending on available rooms)
