Are you an experienced lead cook ready to bring your culinary talents to the heart of the Rockies? Look no further than Rocky Mountain Pathways Ranch; nestled in the stunning mountains of Lyons, CO. As our Lead Cook, you'll be the mastermind behind our delectable menus, ensuring every meal is a feast for the senses.

Essential Functions and Duties:

-Lead, train, and inspire our kitchen staff to culinary greatness.

-Work closely with all departments across the ranch, lending a hand wherever is needed: help feed our horses, shovel snow fresh snow, drive a van of our students to a rock climbing adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park

-Get creative in the kitchen, crafting and implementing mouthwatering menus that showcase the best of flavors from all types of culinary experiences

-Create, inspire, and work right alongside our students who love spending time in the kitchen during a session.

-Keep the pantry stocked and the kitchen humming with efficient supply management and inventory control.

-Collaborate with our Programming and Garden departments to create meal plans that make the most of our farm-fresh produce.

-Maintain top-notch food safety standards, because our guests' and students' well-being is always our top priority.

-Keep an eye on the bottom line by managing department budgets like a pro and continuing to ensure a successful relationship with food vendors and the local restaurant community

-Roll up your sleeves and dive into event planning and execution, from intimate B&B stays to grand weddings and retreats. From our high-energy camp sessions with students to rustic ranch weddings, you will never be at a loss for excitement and inspiration

-Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

-Bring your professionalism and a wealth of experience working with diverse populations.

-Flex your culinary muscles with a Culinary Arts Degree or at least 3 years of equivalent kitchen experience.

-Bonus points for management experience and ServSafe certification.

-Weekends are where the magic happens, so you must be available to join us during our busiest times.

-Clear those TB tests and background checks, because we're all about creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
