Restaurant Japango is expanding our operations and now seeking a responsible full-time floor manager with a proven ability to lead. We are looking for a highly motivated and confident individual who has a passion for food, strong work ethic and a selfless desire to serve others. Applicants should be able to reinforce a positive work environment, while effectively monitoring cost and labor controls and ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for each guest. Candidate will be working with a large management team of about five full time managers, so please be ready to contribute your expertise as we all rely on each other. Advancement opportunities will be available for the right candidate.
A few other things we are looking for:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of management experience in a high volume restaurant
- Exemplary communication skills
- An ability to maintain a very professional level of service in a fast paced environment
- Great sense of urgency and capacity to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor
- A team centric attitude with a strong sense of respect for all staff members
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and sake
- Impeccable organization and eye for detail
- Full availability and an ability to work late. We will not consider those with other obligations (school, second job, etc.)
