Your earning potential, including base wages and tips, typically will vary between $20 and $40 per hour depending upon the shift, and staff on the floor.
1. We have tip sharing in place for FOH, but you will keep 75% or more of the tips from your tables.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
2. Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes
3. Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations
4. Use POS system to take food and beverage orders from diners, apply specials and discounts, accept various forms of payments, adjust tickets, perform refunds, and sign up customers for a loyalty program
5. Deliver a great customer experience by making every guest feel welcome
6. Greet customers, serve orders promptly and accommodate any special needs or requests
7. Prepare and pour all alcoholic drinks in absence of a bartender
8. Deliver food and drinks to tables
9. Perform all opening duties, closing duties, and side work/projects
10. Learn how to accurately prepare, present and describe complete beverage menu to the customers
11. Work at ticketed and private events at Dickens Opera House
Qualifications

0. Must have at least 5 years of serving and/or bartending experience in Upscale Casual or Fine Dining Restaurants
1. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
2. This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
3. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
4. Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
5. We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
6. You must be TIPS certified
