Barista Plus - The Coffee Ride, Boulder
Part Time/ 2+ days a week
The Coffee Ride is looking for a new barista/team member to prepare coffee beverages and perform various duties at our Boulder roastery. The Coffee Ride roasts and packages coffee each week and serves made-to-order coffee and tea beverages at our walk-up window six days a week.
Responsibilities Include: customer service, preparing meticulously crafted coffee and tea beverages from recipes, a working knowledge of coffee production, packaging freshly roasted coffee beans, sharing the love of The Coffee Ride brand, general cleaning of the roastery, and more.
Qualifications: experience brewing coffee by various methods as previous work experience or at home, excellent time management, ability to work alone and remain productive, point of sale operation and money handling, an aptitude to operate with energy and urgency 6-8 hours a day.
The ideal candidate is charismatic and engaging with customers, exemplifies professionalism while interacting and communicating with guests and team members, has a willingness to learn new skills, be coached and accept feedback. Critical thinking and quick problem solving are a must, the ability to adapt and be flexible when situations change is key, and having a self-starter mentality. A love of coffee, a strong desire to learn about coffee and coffee production in our roastery, a desire to make great tasting coffee to share with customers are key. Must be able to lift/carry 25lbs. Previous barista or food service experience is a definite plus, but not a requirement for the right candidate.
