Line cook and Prep cook
About the Job:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced kitchen staff to join our team at Lotus Moon Vegan Pho. Our ideal candidate has an understanding of Asian vegetarian cuisine (preferred), strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Line Cook
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet the highest standards.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Previous experience as a cook in an Asian restaurant preferred
Knowledge of Asian vegetarian cuisine preferred
Strong culinary skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and a commitment to quality.
Prep Cook
Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients for daily menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work areas.
Assist the Line Cook with food preparation.
Ensure proper food storage and rotation to minimize waste.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a prep cook in an Asian restaurant preferred.
Knowledge of Asian vegetarian cuisine preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
