Job description:
The Inventory Handler / Shop Associate assists both the Purchasing Manager and the Shop Foremen in the day to day shop operations of our cabinet manufacturing facility.
SKILLS:
Must be forklift-certified
Must have excellent attention to detail
Must be very well organized
Must work well in a team environment
Must be a self motivator
RESPONSIBILITES:
Inventory Control
Forklift Operator
Receiver
Shop Associate
Pull and stage orders
DUTIES:
Assist the Purchasing Manager with maintaining inventory. This includes receiving inventory shipments, stocking inventory as it comes in, pulling/cutting inventory for upcoming jobs, and making sure the installers have everything they need for their jobs the day of install.
Assist the Material Handler / Shop Associate in preparing sheet materials for cut.
Assist in unloading incoming shipments and loading outgoing shipments.
Assist in the quality control of all jobs leaving for install/delivery.
Make sure all materials handled by you is of the quality acceptable for all internal and external customers of our cabinet manufacturing facility.
Assist the Shop Foremen in any other day to day tasks that require your help.
