MRI Technologist Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $39.46 - $59.18 an hour. Per Diem, Various Shifts Range includes per diem differential. +$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts. Boulder Community health is seeking an MRI Technologist, this position plays a pivotal role in healthcare by conducting MRIs with utmost precision, consistently delivering top-notch examinations. This critical role involves utilizing advanced imaging technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment, contributing significantly to patient care. Our ideal candidate makes patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. Active Registered Technologist (AART) for MRI, or MRI registered within: two years from hire/transfer date for trainee, or 18 months from hire/transfer date for registry eligible staff 1-2 years experience in hospital setting.Responsibilities Prepare, position, transfer patient as needed. Perform scans with proper technical factors. Photographs and hangs scans as necessary. Performs injection of contrast. Schedules patients. Works on call as scheduled and as needed. Participates in quality assurance studies.
