Unit DescriptionSodexo has an exciting new opportunity for a Global Strategic Relations Executive that will support one of our highly acclaimed Global Strategic Accounts. This is a remote position, based out of the U.S. and will require travel. The ideal candidate will reside on the West Coast.As our Global Strategic Relations Executive , you will play an instrumental role in shaping and fostering key relationships for one of our large prestigious tech clients. This role involves high-level engagement with the client organization and requires a focus on bringing the best of Sodexo to every interaction. The direct P&L and operations responsibility will be with the regions, but your role will be critical in building global and regional relationships with the client and developing a greater awareness of Sodexo’s food service capabilities. Responsibilities will include:Strategic Leadership Management

Cultivate and maintain strong long-term relationships with the client at a global and regional level, acting as the primary point of contact for all food service-related matters. This involves understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives to align to the company's strategy effectively.

Act as the primary liaison between the client, regional teams and Sodexo’s organization, ensuring clear communication and understanding of needs, expectations, and client’s strategic objectives are met.

Provide confident, visible leadership, ensuring standards are set and delivered, talent and resources are utilized optimally, client relationships are nurtured and developed and all opportunities for best practice and capability growth are leveraged.

Lead and attend governance requirements in line with the client contract & expectations.

Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team across the regions.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and industry experts, to enhance service delivery and create additional value for the client.

Support the business development team in identifying opportunities to maximize profit and growth and sell additional food services.

Operations/Compliance

Act as a primary point of contact for high-level partner and client issues. When required, support the resolution of issues that may arise in the course of the relationship.

Lead initiatives to bring the best of Sodexo to the client, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Continuously looks for innovative ideas and practices into the global food program to keep it ahead of market trends and enhance client satisfaction.

Regularly report to senior management on the status and progress of strategic relationships.

Encourage cross-regional collaboration to share insights, best practices, and innovative solutions.

Ensure consistent and high-quality food service delivery across all locations, adhering to both our company's standards and client expectations to enhance user experience.

Work closely with internal teams such as regional operations, business development, marketing, food platform and supply chain management to ensure implementation of best practices across the portfolio and effective understanding of the client’s overall business strategy. This involves coordinating with various departments to ensure that the benefits of the partnership are maximized across the organization.

Understand the contract scope and financial KPIs (e.g. payment mechanisms and procedures and variation control) and their importance to managing the services provided, including the ability to understand if KPIs are met.

Regularly report to senior management and the client on performance metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

At least 10 years of experience in the food service or hospitality industry, with a proven track record in managing global accounts.

Experience in strategic account management/development.

International and/or multi country/regional experience: Proven experience in working across geographical boundaries - management of complexities, divergent interests, and building diverse teams of high-performing, highly engaged employees.

Excellent leadership: Exhibits strong emotional intelligence with effective ability to influence without authority and partner cross-functionally.

Capacity to motivate, coach & develop team members, provide feedback, build talent pools, foster collaboration, delegate.

Excellent client relationship skills: Ability to interface with clients at all levels, in a matrix organization.

Active listener with excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills.

Proven financial and commercial acumen, including the ability to make innovative and proactive decisions.

Must be able to demonstrate a passion for putting the end user at the heart of everything we do and create a user experience to enable talent retention, productivity and engagement in the client strategy.

Innovative Thinking: Proven ability to think innovatively and foster creative solutions. Looks for constant improvement and can challenge the status quo (with humility).

Demonstrable track record of developing successful operational strategies across a broad portfolio of target client groups.
