Dawson, a K-12 independent school of 535 students located east of Boulder on a beautiful 112-acre campus, seeks a part-time Middle School English teacher for the 2024-25 school year, with the potential for full-time. Education and Experience
-A bachelor’s degree in English or a related field is required
-3+ years teaching experience required
-Demonstrated classroom management skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to include technology elements into all aspects of instruction
-Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters

Duties/Responsibilities
-Report to Director of Middle School
-Teach two to three sections of (6th grade) English
-Actively participate in the extracurricular life of the School as a coach and/or club supervisor
-Serve as Advisor
-Additional duties as deemed necessary by the School
The salary range for a part-time position is $5,000 to $6,000 per section, per semester. The salary range for a full-time position is $45,000 to $70,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
