The Joy of Learning is a Boulder based tutoring company that specializes in serving students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. Our primary focus is on reading instruction using the Orton-Gillingham approach. We use the Wilson Reading System, and also teach structured writing and multisensory math as needed. We are looking for experienced educators to join out team as part-time Learning Specialists. This is an independent contractor position.

If hired, you will acquire students slowly over a period of weeks to months. It is possible to get up to 15+ student hours over time (more flexibility with timing and location= more hours).

Because teachers will acquire students slowly over a few months, teachers must be in a position to keep their after school availability open while they build up their student load.

- What teaching experience do you have with k-8 students?
