The Opportunity
A progressive Boulder, Colorado CPA firm, which has been serving individuals and small businesses in the Boulder area for 30 years, seeks a smart, personable and competent CPA. The position is flexible and can be remote, based in the Boulder office, or hybrid. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes collaborating as a member of a cohesive team. We have a diverse client base that includes trusts, real estate, manufacturing, property brokerage and management, medical, professional services, expatriates, foreign nationals, high net worth individuals and others.
We do much more than just prepare tax returns for our clients. We provide peace of mind by proactively providing tax and financial planning advice so our clients can make informed financial decisions and plan for the future.
We are selective with new clients so they are a good fit for the firm and enjoyable to work with.
Requirements
3+ years tax return experience in public accounting or equivalent industry experience with strong accounting background
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
High comfort level and competency using computers and software, QuickBooks and Lacerte experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills with a proven ability to get along well with diverse personalities; tactful, mature and flexible
Ability to both collaborate with others as well as operate independently when required
High energy level and comfort performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities
Driven to make things better, including yourself, and are open to feedback
High level of emotional intelligence
Offer solutions to the problems you identify
Willing to jump in and help, to get involved, to roll up your sleeves, and to do what needs to be done to make our team successful!
Position Summary
Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts
Communicate with clients regarding their accounting and tax needs, including identifying and solving personal and business issues so they can meet their personal or financial objectives

Salary Range
Commensurate with experience and ability - $60,000 - $100,000
