Agriculture based company is seeking an Accounting Professional, should have a strong and enduring work ethic, be very detail oriented, process oriented, possess good problem-solving skills, good verbal and written communication skills, integrity, positive attitude and be reliable and responsible.
Position activities:
Full cycle Accounts Payable activities
Full cycle Accounts Receivable activities
Bank reconciliations
Entering payroll hours and processing biweekly
Maintaining filing system for A/P, A/R and Payroll
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets
Work with team members and manager to provide accurate and timely data
Interacting with customers, vendors and employees
Assist in other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Associates Degree in Accounting desirable or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 3 years professional accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word and Quickbooks
Must be proactive and able to implement a hands-on approach
Absolutely committed to meeting deadlines consistently
Must have great attention to detail and accuracy
Effective time management and priority-setting skills
Ability to treat data and information with extreme confidentiality
Demonstrate professional integrity and fosters trust.
