Job Summary:The Beaver Creek Lift Maintenance team is currently seeking a qualified electrical specialist to join our Lift Electrical crew. The primary function of this role is the development and maintenance of an Ignition based SCADA system consisting of equipment networking, PLC and HMI programming, SQL database management, updating schematics, and other duties necessary to ensure a functional SCADA system. Along with other members of the team, a qualified candidate will also perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot a variety of electrical, electro-mechanical, industrial control systems, and install electrical and electronic upgrades on ski lifts. This is year-round full-time outdoor work in a mountainous environment that will involve climbing and working at height on ski lift towers.Job Specifications:

Expected Pay Range: $22.50 - $38.24 / hour

Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time

Skill Level: Specialist

Other Specifics: On Call / Remote  

Job Responsibilities:

Implementation of an industrial automation system with emphasis on Database/Server programming and integration with PLCs and HMIs

Ability to troubleshoot and repair lift related Industrial Controls including PLC’s and VFD’s

Data Reporting and Visualization Tool development

Install and calibrate various sensors and instrumentation.

Practice established protocols to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Actively involved in lift emergency procedures and time dependent repairs.

Ability to prioritize according to departmental goals.

Document repairs, labor, and materials accurately on work orders.

Willingness to participate in ongoing training opportunities.

May be called upon to assist other departments when necessary.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of SCADA integration experience

A minimum of 4 years general electrical experience

Modbus TCP/IP communication protocol expertise

Previous experience with ladder logic programming

RSLogix/Studio 5000 Experience (Preferred)

SQL Database Experience (Preferred)

Previous use of Ignition software (Preferred)

Previous experience with CAD software (Preferred)

Must be comfortable working efficiently at heights

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver’s license

Microsoft Office proficiency

Ability to work outside in all high alpine weather conditions

Knows how to or shows willingness to learn to Ski, Snowboard and/or Snowmobile

Must be able to lift up to 100lbs

The expected pay range is $22.50 - $38.24. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
