Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.

Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities.

Roll out a data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture.

Provide guidance to customer, both functional and senior management, to achieve their objectives; resolve issues escalated from customer functional areas or enterprise data governance representatives.

Identify new opportunities pertaining to the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the customer space / represent data as a strategic business asset to both functional and senior management.

Develops methodologies for data collection consistent with the overall data strategy of the customer and their mission requirements.

Ensures data management system is compliant with all relevant policies and regulations Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.

Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions.

Developing clear channels of communication. Reviewing data and working with colleagues to make sure that data is accurate. Being aware of potential weaknesses in the data when analyzing and using the data.

Ability to articulate vision of transformation efforts and a sense of mission.

Results orientation, willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion.

Demonstrated ability to manage adversity and challenging situations.

Ability to manage senior relationships across all the business and functional areas.

Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science● Required Experience: (Ten) 10+ years of related experience● Required Technical Skills:

5+ years of experience supporting enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, 3Par, Primera, EMC, Veritas , Cohesity etc.)

Experience with NAS and SAN storage protocols to include NFS, CIFS and Fiber Channel

Experience with data center installation of storage arrays to include initial software configurations, SAN zoning and IP based storage configurations

Experience with data replication technologies such as NetApp SnapMirror

Experience with storage array cluster switches

Experience performing routine storage array firmware & OS code updates.

Experience perform enterprise SAN/NAS recap. effort to include data migration at scale.

Experience configuring storage platforms to include configuring clustering, HA, building aggregates, LUNs, volumes, shares and managing storage quotas.

Experience with cloud based storage platforms such as NetApp Cloud Volumes OnTap, AWS S3 and Azure Storage Accounts

Knowledge of encryption technologies and integration with storage platforms.

Knowledge of backup platforms and their implementation.

Experience monitoring storage system and configurations in order to ensure system health and functionality as well as remediate issues in a timely manner.

ITIL Foundation V3 or V4

DoD 8570 certification

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
