The goal of this growing team is to elevate and build awareness for the variety of programs, initiatives, research, and clinical care that is delivered by the team.This position requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to stay on task, and the ability to work with varying levels of staff and faculty to gather information, write, and distribute content appropriately.Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and coordinate internal and external communications.

Maintain an editorial calendar for communications activities that includes monitoring content and social media.

Create lay-out and design for MCoA newsletter, annual report, flyers to include video, print and electronic design and delivery (i.e., using Ecomm template and Salesforce).

Create web and social media strategic plans and post regularly on each platform. Connect platforms in a dashboard to monitor open and response rates. Be able to analyze and pivot if necessary.

Maintain analytics for all promotional campaigns to analyze with team about performance metrics and pivot when needed.

Create donor-focused fundraising materials in a variety of media platforms (electronic, print).

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field from an accredited university.

A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

One (1) year of professional experience in digital media, website and social media management which may include content creation, including graphics, video, and copywriting and/or paid digital advertising.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.Preferred Qualifications:

Three years of experience working in communications, public relations, social media, or marketing field(s). Preference given for experience in health care or higher education.

Additional training/professional development in the following areas: social media strategy and implementation, writing for the web, search engine optimization, content management systems, HTML, and video editing.

Communications experience in a university, academic medical center, and/or large hospital system environment.

Experience with Ecomm platform and Salesforce.

Experience with graphic design and video editing.

Experience with project management, prioritization, timelines, and ensuring on-time deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of grammar, editing and AP style guidelines.

Commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

Strong storytelling and creativity with ability to communicate voice and call to action in a variety of formats.

Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent time management; ability to priority, problem solve and meet deadlines.

Interested in learning and mastering new technologies and digital platforms.

Strong work ethic with ability to work independently as well as with the team.
