Tune Technician - Winter 25-26

Position SummaryThe Tune Technician is responsible for the precise tuning, waxing, and repair of skis and snowboards, including both rental equipment and guest-owned gear held overnight. This role ensures that all equipment meets performance and safety standards, directly supporting a high-quality guest experience on the mountain. Tune Technicians may also assist with the transfer of gear between resort locations to support operational needs. This position reports to the Tune Shop Manager. Applications for this position will be accepted until October 1, 2025 for the 2025-26 Winter Season.Essential Job FunctionsReceive and sort incoming skis and snowboards according to established procedures and workflow Tune, wax, and repair skis and snowboards using hand tools and machinery, including Wintersteiger equipment, as directed Inspect all tuned equipment to ensure it meets quality and performance standards set by the Tune Shop Manager Organize and stage finished equipment for timely and accurate delivery to designated locations Perform end-of-shift cleaning and maintenance of tuning machines, benches, and tools to ensure proper function and safety Complete nightly closing procedures and prepare the shop for the incoming shift Pick, pack, and transfer rental, retail, and non-inventory product between internal and external locations as assigned Fulfill restocking requests by selecting correct items, preparing equipment for transfer, and ensuring returned gear is received and re-racked Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring products are moved safely and efficiently Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dock lifts, and rolling carts in a safe and controlled manner Support overall logistics by helping coordinate timely equipment transfers across resort locations Other duties as assigned
