Summary 
The General Maintenance Engineer I or II is willing and able to perform basic building maintenance projects. Shift will run from 3:30pm-12:00am. Job Posting Deadline

   Able to perform basic building maintenance, i.e. repairs, small furniture repairs, painting touch-ups, etc.
   Able to work with minimal supervision
   Maintain a polite and courteous attitude toward hotel guests
   Maintains clear and uncluttered work areas
   Respond and attend to guest repair request
   Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
   Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for building
   Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners; replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items.
   Display basic computer skills 
   Make Manager aware of guest's comments and complaints
   Report to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook
   Report to shift on time.
   Comply with all policies and procedures for the Engineering Department, The Little Nell, and Aspen One
   Is familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures and assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
   Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand
