We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Accounting Specialist to join our team at. As a vital member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, generating invoices, and handling various accounting tasks specific to the trucking industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processes for truck drivers, including calculating hours, deductions, and generating weekly payments.
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations, including IFTA tax and Oregon tax filings.
- Handle EDD claims and other employment-related documentation.
- Generate billing invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process weekly payments for company bills and expenses.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in payroll and accounting within the trucking industry is required.
- Proficiency in handling IFTA tax and Oregon tax filings.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes for truck drivers, including knowledge of relevant deductions and regulations.
- Experience with EDD claims and employment-related documentation.
- Ability to generate billing invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
