Position Summary:
As a Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver for Guardian Medical Services, you will be responsible for transporting clients to and from medical appointments, treatment centers, and other essential destinations. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to safety, and a commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations.
Assist clients in and out of the vehicle, including the use of wheelchairs or stretchers when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and client interactions using company-provided tools or logs.
Ensure the cleanliness, proper maintenance, and safety of the assigned vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
Communicate clearly with dispatch and respond promptly to route updates or client needs.
Provide excellent customer service with patience, professionalism, and care.
Qualifications:
Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Prior experience in transportation, caregiving, or customer service preferred.
Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and DOT physical (if required).
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Physically capable of assisting clients with mobility challenges (e.g., pushing wheelchairs, helping clients in and out of vehicles).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
