regulations, processes, and procedures to general concessions
operations in a Commercial Services Program and supporting
administrative/office duties. Please visit find a park for

Track staff work schedules.
Track and manage rate update and operation proposal submissions
for concession operations.
Manage the Commercial Use Authorization program budget, track
incoming funds and expenditures.
Prepare program documents and record expenditures from purchase
documents.
Maintain a government charge card and order supplies.
Prepare travel arrangements for staff.
Maintain manual and electronic files.
Track and record visitor use statistics for entrance stations,
campgrounds, commercial use authorizations, and concession
operations.
Record meeting minutes.
Assist with litigation discovery.
Reserve meeting space and/or conference lines.
May assist with evaluations of concessioner performance and
track adherence to contract terms and deliverables.
Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full

QualificationsIn order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience
requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your

application.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for
this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required
specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade
level in which you are applying:GS-05:
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year
of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level
in the Federal service performing the following: (1) providing
clerical and administrative assistance such as maintaining files,
handbooks, manuals, directories, and mailing list for an office; (2)
assisting with collection of rates and service information from
outside businesses; (3) logging and tracking incoming complaint
letters and response due dates (rules, regulations, appropriate
formats, procedures in applying for permits, and the status of
solicitations or correspondence); and (4) using word processing
software to prepare written documents and reports using established
templates.OREducation: Successful completion of at least a 4 full years of
education above the high school level in any field for which high
school graduation or equivalent is the normal prerequisite. This
education must have been obtained in an accredited business,
secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or
university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30
semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or
university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week
for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical
school. (NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts as proof
of any claimed education).ORCombination: Successful completion of a combination of education
and experience as described above. To combine education and
experience, first divide your semester hours of undergraduate
education beyond two (2) years (60 semester hours) by 30. Then take
the number of months of full time experience and divide by 12
months. Add the percentages together. The total must equal at least
100 percent to qualify. (NOTE: You must include transcripts.)GS-06:
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year
of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level
in the Federal service performing the following: 1) responding
verbally or in writing to inquiries or complaints pertaining to
concession operations (rules and regulations, appropriate formats
and provisions of contracts, procedures in competing for contracts
and applying for permits, and the status of solicitations or
correspondence); 2) organizing and analyzing numerical information,
maintaining organizational, office and project records; 3) assisting
in tracking or evaluating concessioner or other contractor
performance; and 4) assisting in the preparation of reports, fact
sheets, and correspondence on concession-related issues and
information.TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit Promotion applicants who are
in a current GS position or have held a GS position any time in the
previous 52 weeks (one year) must also meet time-in-grade
requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06
position you must have served 52 weeks (one year) at the GS-05. The
grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in
the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade
eligibility must be submitted with your application (e.g.
Promotions, STEP Increases, etc.). No award SF-50 will be accepted.
Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal
civilian employees applying for reinstatement as well as current
employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998

You may be required to operate a government (or private) motor
vehicle as part of your official duties. Prior to your first
official motor vehicle operation, and again every year
thereafter (or more frequently if management determines such
need exists), you will be required to sign an affidavit
certifying to your possession of a valid State issued driver's
license that is current and has not been revoked, suspended,
canceled, or otherwise disqualified in any way to prohibit your
operation of a motor vehicle. You will also submit a photocopy
of your valid State issued driver's license prior to your first
official motor vehicle operation, and again every year, or more
frequently if management determines such need exists. Lastly,
you may be required to submit (within a State sealed envelope or
submitted directly by the State authorities), and at your own
expense, all certified driving records from all States that
discloses all valid driver's licenses, whether current or past,
possessed by you. Please indicate in your application whether
you possess a valid State driver's license.
You will be required to wear a uniform and comply with the
National Park Service uniform standards. A uniform allowance
will be provided.
You may be required to work overtime.
If you are a new employee in the Federal government, you will be
required to complete a one-year probationary period.
You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 5
nights per month. You must obtain a government charge card for
travel purposes.
You may be required to complete training and obtain/maintain a
government charge card with travel and/or purchase authority.

position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed
to telework with supervisor approval.Nongovernment housing: may be available for rent or purchase in the
local communities of Groveland, Mariposa, Midpines, Bootjack,
