Description:Two 2nd shift (1:20pm-10:00pm) and two 1st shift (6am-2:40pm) welder/framer needed for steel window/door manufacturer in Yorba Linda, CA.Entry level welder focus is on Flat Bar welding. Using technical drawings to assemble steel widow and door frames. Set up and operate, welder, cold saw, band saw, grinding and related tools that remove excess material, sharpen edges or corners, or buff, straighten, hone metal workpieces.Essential Functions:-Use MIG processes to weld flat bars to frames using fillet, partial pen welds according to detail drawings.-Lift and position workpieces, manually, and secure them on tables using clamps.-Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications, utilizing knowledge of the tool operation.-Weld and fabricate steel components according to blueprints//CAD drawings.-Perform related tasks such as flame cutting, arc gouging, and grinding-Wears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensures safe operation of all equipment.-Works on Special projects and performs other duties as assignedAdditional Skills & Qualifications:-Able to interpret instructions both written and oral.-Able to work in a team with co-workers to resolve work-related issues.-Good measurement skills with the ability to measure to 1/32 of an inch.-Basic math skills, count, add, subtract and multiply simple numbers.-Able to learn to read, understand, and interpret production drawings and shop orders.Experience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
