Description Robert Half is seeking a Property Accountant for our client! This Property Accountant will have experience in accounting and property management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems. Support management reporting by preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses
Manage capital lease and monthly payment schedules
Coordinate and examine financial data and report it in a clear, useful manner
Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end financial statements/reporting packages
Put together intricate journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist in the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls
Maintain fixed-asset ledger, depreciation and reconciliation Requirements - Super organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
Experience with industry specific accounting software
Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
