Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills is looking for a phlebotomist to join their team! Opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment with a leading healthcare network! REQUIREMENTS:

Valid CPT License

Ability to work Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm

6+ months of inpatient or outpatient blood draw experience

Job DescriptionDraw blood from patients' fingers, heel, or vein, observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood samples. Obtain the correct amount and type of specimen. Document all requests and release results of lab work accurately. Inform physicians of released lab results. Complete appropriate routing, handling, and processing of various medical specimens. Order, distribute and stock supplies as needed. Train and report on the work performance of other lab assistants. Expect to draw 60-80 patients daily.Work EnvironmentWorking in an outpatient clinic.
