Description We have partnered with an excellent company who is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aerospace Buyer to join their fast-paced aerospace manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should be able to work diligently in a high-pressure environment, and will be responsible for purchasing materials, components, and services for our aerospace manufacturing processes. This role is 100% onsite with a full-time schedule in the Woodland Hills, CA area. For more information, please call 818-703-8818. Requirements Responsibilities:

Research, select, and purchase high quality aviation materials and components.

Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods.

Evaluate cost and quality of goods or services.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.

Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains consistent.

Stay updated on market trends and implement new sourcing methods if needed.

Manage and address defects and discrepancies (e.g. late deliveries, missing or damaged items).

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to meet product development goals.

Ensure all purchasing activities align with quality certification standards (like AS9100, ISO9001).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience as a buyer or relevant role in an aerospace manufacturing or relevant industry.

Understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel – VLOOKUPS; working knowledge of purchase management ERP software is a strong advantage.

Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

Detail-oriented and great problem-solving abilities.

Aerospace quality system awareness.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.

Good knowledge of market research, quantity surveying, and negotiating contracts.

Awareness of industry and market trends in aerospace manufacturing.
