Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Woodland, California. This role revolves around maintaining and updating accounting records, processing invoices, receipts, payments, and purchase orders, as well as supporting audits by providing necessary documentation. Responsibilities: Ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Keeping customer credit records updated and accurate. Managing customer inquiries and resolving any issues. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary. Organizing and filing financial documents in accordance with internal policies. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports for review by senior accountants. Keeping track of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments or collections. Collaborating with team members to maintain the accuracy of accounting data. Responding promptly to requests for financial information or clarifications. Utilizing QuickBooks for entering and reconciling financial transactions.
