Operations/Loan Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Operations/Loan Specialist in the Financial Services industry based in Westlake Village, California, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including processing and reviewing loan applications, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records.Responsibilities: Accurately calculate loan and vested benefits for various plans Timely dispatch of loan and withdrawal packages to clients, adhering to service standards Conduct quality reviews of loan and withdrawal packages prior to client distribution Monitor and follow up on in-process loans and distributions Address loan and withdrawal related inquiries from clients, participants, and staff Understand pension plan documents to ascertain individual plan specifications Seek opportunities to enhance the loan and withdrawal process Conduct technical research to answer questions as necessary Maintain the accuracy and completeness of loan and withdrawal logs Provide backup support to other teams when required. Requirements Prior experience of 2 years or more in a similar role within the financial services industry Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Capability to efficiently manage data processing tasks Familiarity with Epic Software ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning software experience Proficiency in using About Time software Auditing skills, preferably in a financial context Experience in check processing in a financial environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of compliance regulations within the financial services industry Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
