Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Residential Construction Project Manager in West Hills, California. This role is situated in the construction industry and involves overseeing all aspects of home construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals and specifications are met.Responsibilities: Oversee all stages of home construction projects, including pre-construction, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. Collaborate with a diverse team of clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals and specifications are met. Establish project objectives, policies, and procedures within the company's policy boundaries. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and delivery of materials and services. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and any potential risks or delays. Coordinate inspections, permits, and approvals necessary for project completion. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Apply skills in budget processes, customer service, construction, construction drawings, and client communications.Requirements Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Planning Analyst/Manager/Director role or similar. Must possess a strong understanding of budget processes and have experience in managing budgets. Experience in the construction industry is required, including familiarity with construction drawings and delivery schedules. Excellent customer service skills are essential, with a strong emphasis on client communications. Candidates should have a proven track record of working effectively in a team environment and the ability to independently manage projects. Familiarity with the latest industry trends and challenges is necessary for strategic planning and forecasting. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure are crucial. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary. A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the location of the job.
