programs and treating dietary, nutritional, and health needs of adults and

geriatric patients. Accountable for the delivery of effective patient care by

members of the dietary team.Primary duties may include, but are not limited

to:

Evaluatesand manages staffing, telephone consultations and educational informationrelated to nutrition to facilitate and ensure members’ optimal health.

Providesresources and direction to the Registered Dietitians (RD) on the team.

Researchesand develops new and innovative approaches, protocols, curriculum, processes, andpresentations for the clinical department.

Developsperformance and training schedule and orientation of new or current RD; coordinates training opportunities for staff.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance ofdirect reports.

Requires:

BA/BS; 5+ years of relatedexperience, including 3 year of management experience; or any combination of educationand experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Demonstratedteam building/motivation/leadership expertise

Systemsagility

Solidunderstanding of Medicare regulations and the Medicare market

RegisteredDietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or licensure, as applicable,dependent on state of practice required. Active member of the Academy ofNutrition and Dietetics required. Specialty certifications demonstratingknowledge with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particulararea of dietetics preferred. Will consider other related licensure withdemonstrated expertise in nutrition/dietetics.

Bilingual(Spanish-English) a plus.

Experienceaddressing social determinants of health (SDOH) a plus.
