Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a bilingual Mandarin HR Generalist role. The position is based in West Covina, California, and is crucial for managing Employee Relations cases, conducting training sessions, overseeing recruitment processes, and facilitating coordination between different locations. This role is integral to our operations and will involve working closely with various departments to ensure smooth functioning.Responsibilities: Oversee and resolve complex Employee Relations cases, including labor disputes and employee grievances, while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. This includes conducting onboarding sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff. Lead the recruitment process for various positions, from sourcing and interviewing to selecting candidates. Act as a liaison between different locations, facilitating effective communication and coordination to ensure alignment of operations with company policies and standards. Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation. Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, providing coaching and support to managers and employees to enhance performance and productivity. Promote and uphold the company culture and values, implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work environment. Provide operational support to the Operations Department, offering HR insights to improve performance. Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned.Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce software Understanding of Benefit Functions within a HR role Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of HR Compliance and legal regulations Proven experience in managing Employee Relations Understanding of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provisions Proficiency in Chinese language would be advantageous Experience in Full Cycle Recruiting processes Knowledge of HR operations and best practices Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
