Description An AV-rated civil litigation law firm in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Document Review Attorney to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite presence in Walnut Creek, and is ideal for candidates looking to supplement their work with part-time hours.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of legal documents, including e-discovery, to identify relevant information and ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare detailed page line summaries and privilege logs to assist in case preparation and strategy.
Identify, categorize, and analyze relevant information within documents to support legal arguments and case development.
Utilize advanced search techniques and software to perform keyword searches and filter large volumes of documents.
Apply redactions to sensitive information as required.
Work closely with the legal team to ensure accurate and comprehensive document review, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in document review processes, including quality checks and audits.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed attorney in California.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation. Specific experience in Construction Defect cases is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in document review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Concordance).
Effective written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey findings and collaborate with team members.
Familiarity with e-discovery tools and techniques, including TAR (Technology-Assisted Review) and predictive coding.

Part-time hours, 25-35 hours per week
