Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic Walnut Creek based law firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload and assisting in civil litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong advocacy and analytical skills.Responsibilities:
Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to pre-trial phase
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Assist in preparing for hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on legal matters
Requirements
Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation experience
Bar admission in the State of California
Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
Experience with all aspects of litigation, including drafting complaints, motions, and discovery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service
