Description Seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper with a knack for establishing and enforcing a well-ordered path to record financial transitions. A successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a superb understanding of accounting principles, and a demonstrable track record of maintaining all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping.Responsibilities:
Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, year-end close processes.
Prepare appropriate fiscal reports on a monthly basis, including budget vs. actual variance reports.
Coordinate bank deposits and general ledger reconciliations.
Manage payroll and manage petty cash account.
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field required.
Previous experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper within a non-profit would be advantageous.
Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks, advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Substantial knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
